led zeppelin live is also brilliant. jimmi page is brilliant. they were a major event. i saw page & plant live not so long ago. the most inspiring thing about it was jimmi. he had such an honest smile. he played because he liked to play. i remember reading an article about nuns burning rock records because they were the devil's work. it seemed to me, idiotic. pathetic. and in bad taste.

christians can be very militant. saving the world.

i wrote the paper. told them.

one of the men in church had read it. said i was entitled to my opinion. but he didn't like it. my dad sent it to my grandfather. i thought it wasn't necessary. grampy wasn't fazed. he admired my curiosity and found it ironic that i didn't believe in god. he wasn't quite sure if he believed me. for someone with such passion, it didn't make sense.

i believe in angels. and i believe it's us. in us. collectively, there is great magic. if we care to believe we are it. here. you and i will die. someone else will be born. some will share similar thoughts. more and more, they will see that it is life that is paradise for the senses.

they won't be christians. they won't be jews.
no more hindi, buddhist, islam, rastas too.
they'll believe they are what they have become.
they'll know they have the means whatever. it was getting strained.

so let's bring this to an end.

i've stated my case. i have given up the promise of heaven after life for heaven during life. the us in us that isn't the individual. i've seen it move from one body to another. life has a magic. i'm certain of it.

it is better not to label it with a creed of conclusions. conclusions are sometimes good things. good things to think about then leave behind. we got to get over worrying about our immortality. being mortal is a blessing. as is not knowing.

knowing is, however essential to survival.

if we're gonna take it farther, we got to get it together.

reference to earlier letter. the fruit fly was only stunned.

nevermind though. jimmy, like i said, i'm glad i had you as a sunday school teacher. you taught me a few things, mostly from how you were. your wife's a lucky woman. and you made it no secret that you were a lucky husband and father. kisses for the girls if they'll take 'em.
