The who is John Rah page.
It is intended as my online resume.
This is where I started my life: Nova Scotia. I began in the capital city, Halifax. Herb and Judy, my parents had their first baby on May 15th 1960. I can imagine that although they had no money and were just married, they were a very happy couple. Many years later they are still a happy couple and still happy they had a son. At least that's what they tell me. They were also happy to have a daughter. I have one sister, she teaches English and French. You have to say what your relatives do in Germany. Even if they aren't.
Next city. When I was almost seven, Mom had the choice to move to California, Vancouver or London. London Canada. Dad didn't want his kids in the school system in Nova Scotia. Not that it's bad, just a little less fit. California and Vancouver are very far away from Nova Scotia.
This was likely my 12th birthday party with my friends.
A nice subdivision in London. Good for street hockey.
I continued public school.
Went to high school, the first time Jose Wombat was public in Canada. Focus in high school was on music, architecture, math and physics.
Studied Architectural Technology
at Fanshawe College of Applied Arts and Technology.
Started becoming a serious reader and writer.
Loved suddenly by my English teachers.
Played on the Architectural Technology ice hockey team.
I was the guy getting pucks shot at his head.
Worked summers and part time jobs until graduation. Jobs included:
- 1977 Conference Cup paper cup factory.
- 1978 Various temporary jobs: from concrete placing to sod laying.
- 1979 - 1983 Various positions at Coke, from bottle sorting, on line (not computers) work, and delivery. Summers and part time.
- 1984 Taxi Driver
- Mostly not important except for you to know that I worked my way through college. Not because my parents wouldn't help me, they always did when I asked and still do. My dad thought it was better that I learned to fend for myself.
College graduation marked the end of London
London. It was a nice place to grow up. I guess so anyhow. I didn't grow up in many other places. After I had collected 20 years of formal education and a few life experiences, I went to find a job in a good bar in Toronto.
This is Toronto.
This is where I lived my last 9 Canadian years.
- 1984 First job was as foot courier for down town businesses.

- 1987 - 1993 Northern Exposure. Renovation and Construction
- During the years of not so regular work at Northern Exposure, I also worked in a few bars and clubs. I also worked a very short time in the modelling industry.
- 1993 Created a business plan and tied together necessary business connections for Emerald Dreams, custom travel agency.
- The pictures may be a little too much, but the women want me to leave them in.
After Toronto, I moved to Saarbruecken, that's in Germany.
- 1993 Studied German.
- 1994 Worked on my books.
- 1995 - 1997 Carpenter at gabb
- 1998 - 1999 Translation German to English, writing (content), communication, editing, html, computer (mac) at an Internet Multi Media Company. (name supplied on request)

I like working on productions. Film and or Web. 1. | 2. | 3. | 4.
alba36.com hasn't the resources to get in the air and may have to die. I want to take what I have learned these last 3 years and use my expertise to your company's advantage.
I am a writer at heart and a performer in my head. I'd like to work for a company that can handle an element of madness.
I work best as a 'one of those typical crazy creative geniuses' and would love the freedom to use my talent to do something big.
(I like mac)
