vs. 1: They were all under the protection of the cloud. EQ.

“The Cloud. That would also be a great comic book hero.”

Paul is talking about the 600,000 soldiers, and families, that lived like pigs in the desert. Eating manna. A seed that is like grain only yuckier.

Anyone who says nice things about Moses is an idiot or a liar. Moses was the world’s, western world’s, biggest murdering prick.

And Christ did not go with him. Paul said he did to make Christianity an extension of Judaism. The only things that went with the slave soldiers living in smelly tents were many herd animals, piles of shit, rivers of piss, diseases and terror. Fear of death propagated by Lord Moses.

vs. 5: ... God was not pleased with most of them, and so their dead bodies were scattered over the desert. EQ.

Not pleased is an understatement. By the way. And many of them died because conditions were horrible.

“But the story isn’t even true.”

Vs. 11: All these things happened to them as examples for others, and they were written down as a warning for us. For we live at a time when the end is about to come. EQ.

No. The end is not about to come. The beginning has just begun. Things written in the holy books were written to terrorize. Horror stories to keep the ignorant cowering in fear.

And anyone who thinks Moses wasn’t having sex in his tent is an idiot. The Levites always got the first pick of the virgins from city-states they destroyed. Killing all but the children. And often the children as well. Israelites love genocide.

As they do in many lands where resources are known to be under the feet of the natives. It is the bloody almost forgotten story of the Americas. Millions murdered to steal the land from the north to the south. Leaving but tiny bits of naked land for the few left over natives. The invaders plundering above and below the surface and filling the air, water and land with poisons. The mighty fighting plunderers scarring and poisoning the planet all in the name of gold and other resources. Mad killer apes serving the ruling class that go by the title of Lords. Or Kings.

vs. 17: Because there is one loaf of bread, all of us, though many, are one body, for we all share the same loaf. EQ.

Life will evolve when and where it can. The earth is one of those places. Now and the last 4 billion years is one of those times.

True dat. We can’t forget we are part of something bigger than the individual. It is call the rest of life. Specifically, though not at all limited to, our community.

Vs. 26: For, as the scripture says, “The earth and everything in it belong to the Lord.” EQ.

Well, fuck the scriptures written by arrogant ignoramuses, the earth and everything in it does not belong to any Lord or any ruling class family. Usurpers. It is a dead end bloody death game. It is suicidal madness.

chapter 11

vs. 1: Imitate me, then, just as I imitate Christ. EQ.

Bullshit. Paul is looking for another ‘go fuck yourself’.

vs. 3: ... the husband is supreme over his wife ... EQ.

This is call patriarchy. Pure nonsense. Woman did not come from man. It is the women that have babies. It has always been that way. It is biology. All three monotheistic religions are insane when it comes to men rule over women. What the hell are men good for beyond their sperm. They are war mongers. And planet destroyers.

vs. 6: If the woman does not cover her head, she might as well cut her hair. And since it is a shameful thing for a woman to shave her head or cut her hair, she should cover her head. 7. A man has no need to cover his head, because he reflects the image and glory of God. But women reflects the glory of man; 8. for man was not created from woman, but woman from man. EQ.

This is simply idiotic. So here you go Paul. Go fuck yourself.

vs. 10: ... a woman should have a covering over her head to show that she is under her husband’s authority. EQ.

Religion is stupid. Stop believing.

vs. 14: Why, nature itself teaches you that long hair on a man is a disgrace, 15. but on a woman it is a thing of beauty. EQ.

So it has been written so the fools will believe. Nature did not invent knives and scissors. There is no real reason why men or women should have any particular length of hair. It is simply random rules for small-minded fools.

Where do you get off making all these random Jewish rules for the Christian church that is supposedly based on the teachings of Jesus H. Christ. Jesus Christ isn’t about rules on how to make churches and how to act in them.

Jesus said only one thing. Love life. Love one another.

But judge yourself first. Don’t do the communion thing if you are not worthy. Or you might die.

Vs. 30: That is why many of you are weak and ill, and several have died. EQ.

chapter 12

Paul is obviously trying to get through to stupid and ignorant people. Which most people are. Still. Which is okay. Sort of. Up until now when we must wake up.

He tells us the spirit gives everyone something different and all those different parts make one body. Like a community.

“That’s nice.”

An ear is not a foot but without a foot one has one less feet. And if an eye says it don’t need a hand then a penis gotta have two ball and a vagina has a clitoris.

vs. 12: Christ is like a single body, which has many parts; it is still one body even though it is made up of different parts. EQ.

Paul isn’t just an asshole. He got legs and arms and maybe even a head.

vs. 19: There would not be a body if it were all only one part! EQ.

“A nose cannot stand on its own.”

“An intestine does not shit without an ass hole.”

Some parts are prettier than other parts so we expose some parts while we hide the not so pretty parts.

“Or, some parts are so pretty that we hide them so we aren’t too distracted. Imagine if tits and penises and vaginas got to be exposed like they were before we learned from the church that they weren’t to be.”

Vs. 24: … God himself has put the body together in such a way as to give greater honour to those parts that need it. EQ.

No. He didn’t. We have evolved the way we have. And we like it because our sexual interest is inherent in our body. If we were other animals we would not find us so attractive.

As to the greater body that Paul is actually referring to. It is interesting that he says ‘need’ and not deserve. Those in places where titles are attached to their position, are the frail souls that need the most attention. Most support. Such as the pathetic Kings and Queens and Lords. They need greater honour because they are most terrified of life. Most frail. Most inadequate. Pathetic slugs. Without the help of millions of slaves they would be wallowing sacks of nothing. Starved blood suckers.
