vs. 1: They were all under the protection of the cloud. EQ

Paul is talking about the 600,000 soldiers, and families, that lived like pigs in the desert. Eating manna. A seed that is like grain only yuckier.

Anyone who says nice things about Moses is an idiot or a lier. Moses was the world's, western world's, biggest murdering prick.

And Christ did not go with him.

vs. 5: ... God was not pleased with most of them, and so their dead bodies were scattered over the desert. EQ

Not pleased is an understatement. By the way.

vs. 7: "The people sat down to a feast which turned into an orgy of drinking and sex." EQ

That must have been when Moses was up the mountain making Law and Aaron made a golden calf. Then Moses made them eat it and made an alter with horns on it.

All bloody absurd. Really.

vs. 9: ... - and they were killed by snakes. EQ

23,000. Because they had sex. I thought it was 14,000 but no never mind. Snakes and humans having sex have no connection.

People had sex and it rained on the parade.

And anyone who thinks Moses wasn't having sex in his tent is an idiot. The Levites always got the first pick of the virgins from city states they destroyed. Killing all but the children. And often the children as well. Israelites love genocide.

As they do in Dafur. As they did in the Americas. As so often all around the world. Mad killer apes making the brutal transition to the gods.

And now is the time.

vs. 17: Because there is one loaf of bread, all of us, though many, are one body, for we all share the same loaf. EQ

The mormon guy always said. "What I think he means. Then said something very different. But Paul was just trying to get people to accept one another as one with the other part of the other.

And that's cool. It doesn't need to be a religion. In fact, it is time for it not to be.

vs. 23: "We are allowed to do anything" - but not everything is helpful. EQ

True dat. One can't forget we are part of something bigger than the individual.

chapter 11

Paul is looking for another 'go fuck yourself'.

vs. 3: ... the husband is supreme over his wife ... EQ

Bullshit sperm belief not true before tyrant rule. And biologically it might be the other way around. Men are mostly just sperm holders. And war mongers. And planet destroyers.

vs. 6: If the woman does not cover her head, she might as well cut her hair. And since it is a shameful thing for a woman to shave her head or cut her hair, she should cover her head. 7. A man has no need to cover his head, because he reflects the image and glory of God. But women reflects the glory of man; 8. for man was not created from woman, but woman from man. EQ

This is simply idiotic. So here you go Paul. Go fuck yourself.

vs. 10: ... a woman should have a covering over her head to show that she is under her husband's authority. EQ

Religion is stupid. Stop believing.

vs. 14: Why, nature itself teaches you that long hair on a man is a disgrace, 15. but on a woman it is a thing of beauty.

Nature says nothing about who can cut their hair or must and when. Where do you get off making all these random Jewish rules for the Christian church that is supposedly based on the teachings of Jesus H. Christ.

And Jesus said only one thing. Love life. Love one another.

Paul goes on about the Lord's supper. Leaving out every hint of oral sex.

chapter 12

Paul is obviously trying to get through to stupid or ignorant people. Which most people are. Still. Which is okay. Sort of.

He tells us the spirit gives everyone something different and all those different parts make one body. Like a community. And this was all bloody obvious at one time. Before the Law Lords.

vs. 12: Christ is like a single body, which has many parts; it is still one body even though it is made up of different parts. EQ

Paul isn't just an asshole. He got legs and arms and maybe even a head.

vs. 19: There would not be a body if it were all only one part! EQ

Well, whatever. Let's not wonder if a body got parts or not and get to his famous Love chapter.
